London Landmark Half Marathon 2021

We have places available in the 2021 London Landmark Half Marathon and we are looking for runners who are willing to run in the event and help raise funds for the people our charity supports.

The aim of the charity is to provide access to clothes for people in need such as the homeless, elderly, single-parent families and many others, here in the UK.  We distribute vouchers so people in need can select clothes for themselves from stocks held at charity shops and, by doing this, we help them to maintain their dignity during a time of need.  We’re able to provide this service by partnering with other charities such as shelters and foodbanks who distribute our vouchers on our behalf to those needing them most.

If you would like to be one of our runners, we ask for a non-refundable registration fee of £30, which should be paid as a donation on your fundraising page which you will need to set up from the Start Fundraising.  Your registration fee contributes to the £137.50 we as a charity have to pay to secure the place in the Marathon.  Once your application with the London Landmark Half Marathon via this link is completed, and the entry fee is donated via your fundraising portal, we will then authorise your registration and you’ll receive your entry confirmation from ACTIVE and the event organisers confirming your place in the London Landmark Half Marathon 2021.

We are partnered with Virgin Money Giving allowing you to fundraise on our behalf, via this link Start fundraising.  The minimum fundraising target we’d like all runners to achieve is £250.00.

LLHM will showcase the quirky and light-hearted moments of lockdown life to make runners smile.

LLHM will remember the daily kind gestures of neighbours and small sacrifices made that went unseen.

Special Tribute

LLHM will also dedicate a mile of the route to running in memory of our loved ones who passed away during the pandemic, many of whom we were unable to pay tribute to at the time.

The LLHM usually celebrates London’s grand iconic landmarks, its quirky and hidden history and gems. However, following the global Covid-19 pandemic, LLHM 2021 will be re-themed to celebrate the grand, quirky and hidden landmark moments of 2020, shining a light on how we are coming together as a nation during this unprecedented time. LLHM will be honouring the key workers, re-creating some of the fun moments of lockdown life, and remembering the kind actions of neighbours.
