Mark Curran - Chair of Trustees
Mark has worked in financial services for 30 years in London across both retail banking and card services. He currently works for American Express, where he has held a number of Director positions across marketing, sales and for the last 15 years he has been responsible for managing multiple global relationships of the major Fortune 500 Companies. His work experiences are his ability to identify and build meaningful relationships, developing his team members and supporting their career aspirations alongside more commercial elements of leading global negotiations both across corporate payments and merchant services.
Mark has a passion for supporting charities/individuals who can benefit from his experiences and desire to reduce waste in our society and provide support to those most in need.
Karen Penney - Trustee
Karen’s success in the financial sector included the senior roles of Vice President and General Manager UK at American Express and Vice President at Western Union, most recently joining the Board as a Non Executive Director for IODM and AIG Life Ltd. In addition to Clothing Collective Karen is also a Board Trustee for the charity Tempo Time Credits.
Karen has also driven initiatives to foster and ensure good mental health in the workplace, becoming a trained Mental health First Aider herself.
Natalie O'Hare - Trustee Treasurer
Started her career at KPMG where she qualified as a chartered accountant with the ICAEW. She has extensive experience in the retail sector having previously worked in finance positions with brands such as Liberty London and Olivia Burton. She now runs her own company providing Finance Director services to SMEs in the retail, beauty and creative industries.
Annabel Bennett - Trustee
Annabel is a dedicated advocate for positive change, most recently working at the Battersea based charity Katherine Low Settlement and as a trustee for the Devon based Harbour House Trust. With a background in fundraising and community development, she has spent years fostering connections and implementing impactful initiatives to create a brighter future for people and communities. Annabel is committed to making a difference and hopes to use her experience in the third sector to help Clothing Collective thrive.
Antony Wroe - Trustee
Antony first began his career in retail management - initially in Swansea, followed by 8 years Harrods, British Home Stores and then Burberry.
Having attended the London Business School and identified an opportunity in the market, he then went on to found and manage a recruitment agency specialising in telemarketing for 27 years. Antony has sought to utilise the skills and experience he gained in business and retail to help others, which he is now able to shares with Clothing Collective.
