In a week that saw freezing temperatures in the UK and a Sunday Times Report highlighting a primary school in London where 80% of families were homeless, sofa surfing or in unsuitable temporary accommodation. The school has started acting like a food bank, handing out food and second hand clothing. The picture is bleak and this is why we want to provide even more vouchers to people in need this winter. The includes, the homeless, those living in poverty, people fleeing domestic violence and anyone who is in crisis for whatever reason.
Our Big Give Christmas Challenge Campaign closes tomorrow at noon and we'd like to say a massive thank you to everyone who had donated and seen their donation automatically double.
Our Big Give Christmas Challenge campaign is aiming to provide £4,000 of clothing vouchers to people in need of warm clothing this winter. If you haven't yet had a chance to donate your can still help us make a difference.
All donations made via this Big Give Link before 12 noon tomorrow - 5th December will be automatically doubled. So every £1 donated via our Big Give Link will be doubled. So when you give £1 we get £2!

A donation of £5 will become £10 and could buy a warm jumper for a homeless person.
A donation of £20 will become £40 which could buy an elderly person a warm coat.
A donation of £50 will become £100 and could help a family buy warm coats for their children.
And don’t forget, every penny of the voucher goes on to help the Charity Shop’s organisation too so it’s a win/win situation!

"Parents have described the clothing cards as a "godsend" and informed us that "they really helped a lot." Children grow out of their clothes fast and this puts serious pressure on parents at a time when clothes are more expensive than ever.
We are grateful to the Clothing Collective for enabling us" to provide this support. The cards give people dignity and choice. Helping people with the cost of clothing takes pressure off the food bank as it leaves more money intheir pockets for food and essentials.
