Seven charities benefit from gift card donations

If you follow us on social media, you will have seen that we've been posting more updates recently about the donations of The Charity Shop Gift Card we have given to several partner charities.

Here's a list of the seven charities we have been able to provide thousands of pounds worth of gift cards in total to. They each in turn distribute them to the people they know need them most.

Spear - a charity for people experiencing homelessness in SW London including Richmond, Merton, Sutton, Kingston and Wandsworth.

C4WS - C4WS Homeless Project exists to support those without a home to rebuild their lives.

Catch 22 - they design and deliver services that build resilience and aspiration in people of all ages and within communities across the UK.

999 Club - a small charity providing advice, advocacy, shelter, health checks & activities for homeless people in Lewisham & South London.

Islington Centre Food Bank - helping local people in crisis.

Salvation Army Kings Cross - they offer a safe, supportive environment for individuals, helping them make positive choices about their current circumstances.

Food Chain - The Food Chain exists to ensure people living with HIV in London can access the nutrition they need to get well, stay well and lead healthy, independent lives.

We have been able to provide these hard-working organisations with gift cards thanks to the support we get from people like you.

Our funds are raised in a variety of ways, including:

  • Monetary donations - one-off or regular gifts

  • Give As You Shop - use our fundraising partners when you shop

  • reDonate - arrange to have your unwanted clothes collected from your doorstep for free

  • Events - take part in a challenge event and get free entry
